Critics regard Ive’s work as being among the best in industrial design, and his team’s products have repeatedly won awards such as the Industrial Designers Society of America‘s Industrial Design Excellence Award. He’s responsible for the evolution from the bubbly, Bondi Blue iMac to the sleek aluminum design of today, as well as many of our other favorite Apple stuff. Due to his extremely private nature and reluctance to give interviews, little is known about him apart from his work around the world. Born in 1967, he’s proof that even geeks over 40 can be hot.
